To kick off the resumption of the season, a match between Manchester United and Tottenham has been scheduled to be the first fixture of the abridged end to the campaign.

It is one of the games which was due to be played on the weekend the Premier League was suspended as a result of the coronavirus attack which ravaged the country leading to the suspension of all social events including sporting activities across the world.

The first scheduled match will be played at Tottenham Hotspurs’ new stadium. This decision was made after English clubs rejected suggested plans for them to play at neutral venues.
